Been experimenting with the flame from the Weird Sphere game, and as usual fell into the habit of playing with Parplot, and came up with the result you can see. The clue to getting good shiny objects, is to map an image from the 3D rendering part of JWildfire, then I use the same image as the background to make it look like the object is reflecting the background.

So after you’ve loaded the flame into JWildfire…

Once you’ve added your reflection map above, play with all the different settings (diffuse, ambient etc) to get your image looking right. Click the quick render button all the time to get a rough idea of what it will look like. Next, change the flame fractal background to an image, see how below.

Choose a bright image for your mapping and background to look the best.
