Think of tags as like a book index where you find words and which pages they are on, the same principle applies here. Although it's taken a stage further so it might not be the word, but the subject, so for example if you're looking for things to do with fractal gradients for example. A tag may bring back posts with gradient files, as well as posts that discuss gradients, or tutorials about them.
Escape-time fractals are in a way the opposite of flame fractals. Both use the idea of an orbit: the sequence of points generated by repeatedly iterating fractal formulas. But while flame fractals plot the actual orbit points to create the flame, escape-time fractals use the orbit of a point to determine how to color it, commonly by determining how long it takes the orbit to cross an imaginary circle (or to “escape”; hence the name “escape-time”). The two methods usually generate very different fractals.
“JWildfire is a free and user-friendly image-processing software, mostly known for its sophisticated flame-fractal-generator. It is Java-based, open-source and runs on any major computer-plattform. There is also a special Android-version for mobile devices.”
Taking you through the Installation of the Java Then we’ll help you download and install the Freeware Fractal Art and Animation software called Jwildfire.
I created a series of three new galleries. these galleries contain fractals which are tied to the free software “the gimp” (an image manipulation program close to photoshop).
