New flame game coming up, not really used Blob before and Rick wrote another great variation guide about it here.
So played about a bit, and got this, which I think looks quite nice. Nothing much to the flame to get it like this either, but a fair bit of moving the transforms about on screen.

Can you tell me what the idea behind the ‘flame game’ is?
Sure, it’s a facebook group thing. Someone will post a base flame, or flames, and you have to modify that flame but are restricted in some way usually. Or, if it’s based on a tutorial which this one is (Blob Tutorial ) then it’s putting the info into practice see who can come up with the same one. I did run a competition here on the site before, but wasn’t getting much attention. Maybe I should revisit it ?
