When I first started using JWF I noticed that it was really using my CPUs. I could hear the cooling fan ramp up and also I could also see it in the Task Manager. Michael Bourne lead me to the TINA setting tinaPreserveFreeCPUs. What I found is if you go into the Help section (Top Left of main window) and click on system information it will list available processors. Take this number and enter it in the Settings/Preferences – tinaPreserveFreeCPUs. Now the fan never ramps up and the amount the CPU has to work drops substantially.
