Create Mosaics Patterns
Mosaic patterns are made up of small pieces. Each of these pieces has a different shape and color, but when they are put together, they form a new pattern or picture. A mosaic pattern is an example of how different things can combine in a creative way to create something new.
Mosaic patterns have been around for thousands of years. The most common type is called tessellation. This kind of mosaic pattern is made up of small shapes that interlock with each other so that the whole pattern covers the surface without any gaps or overlaps in between the shapes. Some people think that this kind of pattern was invented by mathematicians and engineers who wanted to make drawings or pictures using polygons and shapes that would not overlap with each other.
