Polished Perturbations

This is essentially a continuation of the Blue Bardos flame pack, but with the addition of Parplot for added shininess and tweaking. Adjust the Preset id, which can be a number between 1 and 48, in the Parplot options. After that, you'll almost certainly need to adjust the parplot's weight (the number to the right of where it says parplot2d wf); it's generally a minor figure like 0.371 or something (see pic). Depending on the preset, use the arrows and the fine edit button to alter the weight slightly up or down. Change the colour mode to a number between 1 and 3. This determines how the gradient will be applied to the geometry. A value of three usually works best, but play around with it. If you're feeling really adventurous, alter the umin and umax or vmin vmax settings.

parplot settings

You'll notice an affine variation on the top flames of the flame pack; experiment with the X and Y settings in there, or change this variation entirely. Finally, the final final can be altered. Not all of them work well, but some do.

Finally final, LINK to the flame pack if you post tweaks, help the community by sharing links so others can have a go too, and not guess as to where to find things.
